Kalhyttan's sports and leisure arena is a world-class year-round arena that is especially known for the artificial snow and the fine ski tracks during the winter. Here, several Swedish Championships in cross-country skiing have taken place. At Kalhyttan there are a variety of cross-country ski trails with different difficulties along with hiking and biking trails and an appreciated disc golf course. The facility also has access to changing rooms, showers and sauna, and during the weekends a well-visited café.
