Ack Värmeland du sköna…

Värmland is a landscape of culture with poets, artists, musicians and other famous cultural personalities. To name just a few, there’s Gustaf Fröding, Nils Ferlin and Monica Zetterlund! Now we want to give you some of Värmland’s cultural treasures. In the middle of the Brattsforheden woods at Kittelfältet, you can enjoy a wonderful meal made from local produce and be entertained with music, poetry and stories drawn primarily from the life of Monica Zetterlund.

On 29th June and 24th August, you can experience a beautifully presented table and three-course dinner at Kittelfältet with Monica Zetterlund as the theme!

Monica Zetterlund was born and grew up in Hagfors in north Värmland. Tord Sölvesson plays and sings some of her famous songs and Jan tells you all about the Monica Zetterlund museum, which was built in her honour after her death. You can even meet Monica’s sister, Margareta, who’s sure to have some anecdotes about when the sisters were growing up in Hagfors. All in all, it’s an event not to be missed!
